Making the famous Chhole to eat with Rice or Bhature?
Not getting the beautiful dark colour?
Try adding a a tea bag in the water while boiling the Soaked Chana in the pressure cooker. Remove the tea bag once the Chanas have boiled and you are ready to drain them. Also add a small pouch containing Cloves and Black pepper.
You could also put tea leaves in a pouch made of muslin for the same.
